Now lets talk about hunger. One of the things that I hate the most if feeling hungry especially 10 minutes after I've eaten a meal. When I finished dinner last night I felt content but in about an hour I was hungry again. Today when I eat breakfast I was full after eating. However, it's only been an hour and a half and I'm hungry. Maybe it will just take a little while for my body to adjust to the types of foods that I am feeding it. I'll keep you posted on that I continue over then 29 days.
Also just so I have this written(typed) down somewhere I want to discuss my weight. I've always had issues with my weight especially after being put on large doses of Prednisone for long periods of times. If you've never been on Prednisone consider yourself very lucky. While Prednisone can do a steller job on battling a flare its side effects often leave the individual scared, hungry, and having gained weight. On Monday I had a check up with my new GI doctor and for those seasoned doctor goers you know that means a visit to the ever daunting scale. Well on Monday my weight was 164, and today I had another medical test where once again my weight was taken- 159. So one of two things is either happening. 1.) I've lost some weight already or 2.) The scales were off. Guess I'll have to wait and see if the scale continues to me nice to me.
Disappoint fact of the day:
I learned that not all types of peas are allowed on the Paleo diet! :( I love peas! So I'm already going to be making a modification to this program and allow myself to eat peas! I am, however, going to try and figure out a way to season them without using butter. I'm going to try a little, little bit of sea salt and lemon juice.
Modification (I thought it would be good for me to start putting a subtitle of things that I have modified to the program each day so it I can make it work for me. This way when I look back I can have a record of what I did or didn't do. Soooo..

- Maple-Walnut Chicken Recipe- I'm going to leave out the walnuts. ** remember whole or chopped nuts and me(my gut) do not get along.
How I'm feeling: (another handy subtitle for me)
-not going to lie I'm exhausted as I write this, it's probably because I went for a walk and it's hot outside. However, I would have still felt like this on my old diet. So no change on that ground yet, but it's still early in the program so I'll give it that benefit of the doubt.
- Also my intestine have been making noises all afternoon. Not hungry noises just like they are stirred up or something. So in the past this type of noise usually lead to many unpleasant trips to the bathroom. However, again Paleo here some benefit of the doubt my intestines usually do this whenever I start a new way of eating or exercise regimen! I'll keep you posted on further developments in this area.

What I like so far is the idea that I could be already losing weight. I also like not feeling guilty after I'm done eating.
